Kathryn L. Carter received her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in legal studies in 2011 from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Continuing her education, Ms. Carter attended Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi, and received her law degree in 2015. At the present time, Ms. Carter is serving as a paralegal at the Law Offices of Craig M. Geno, PLLC in Ridgeland, Mississippi, where she has worked since 2012. Her firm’s bankruptcy practice consists of representation of Chapter 11 debtors-in-possession, Chapter 12 debtors-in-possession, and occasionally secured and unsecured creditors. Other practice areas include commercial and corporate litigation. Ms. Carter also serves as trustee assistant to Craig M. Geno, who serves as Subchapter V Trustee in the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi and the Western District of Tennessee.
She is an active member in the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, serving on the Trustee Assistant and Membership Committees, and in the Central Mississippi Phi Mu Alumnae chapter, formerly serving as vice president and president of the chapter. She currently resides in Ridgeland, Mississippi.
