About me
David Leibowitz has been in practice for 51 years. He graduated from Loyola University of Chicago Law School, cum laude, where he also served as an editor of the Law Review and became a member of the Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of NABT and of the American Bankruptcy Institute. David has been recognized for his pro bono work on many occasions and received the award for "Excellence in Pro Bono Service" from the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. David founded his firm, Lakelaw, in 1999, representing people and businesses in bankruptcy. He has served as a Chapter 7 trustee for 35 years.
